Jamie and I had a great time in Snowmass, CO. The snowstorm with 30+MPH winds was awesome. Wee hit Big Burn, Elk Camp, Sheer Bliss, Rocky Mountain High, High Alpine and all the cool places on Snowmass mountain.

Question by Jamie G: Need Advice for Colorado Ski Trip?
8 of us (ages 25-35) are planning a ski trip Jan 4-10 to somewhere in Colorado. The choices are 1) Snowmass 2) Breckenridge 3) Copper 4) Frisco 5) Steamboat 6) Winter Park
Most of us have never been skiing and the few that have are beginners. We are looking for a cool town with some semblance of nightlife and social activity. More for younger people I guess. Does anyone have any suggestions out of these choices?

I would say Breckenridge. The town at the bottom is nice with lots of shops and things to do.
