Question by newcomer: How are the driving conditions in Denver this week?
I am intending to travel to Denver tomorrow and is concerned about the road conditions as I have never driven in snow before. I will be staying at downtown denver and is intending to drive to the following places.
1. Royal Gorge
2. Winter Ski Resort
3. Rocky Mountains National Park.
Any other way of getting around to those places if I don’t drive?

The driving conditions can vary widely from Denver to the destinations you mention. Denver streets at this time are mostly dry but some residential streets are ice covered. Rocky Mountain National Park will likely be snow packed as the mountains have been getting snow on a regular basis. Same thing applies to Winter Park. You best bet would be to go to the CDOT website (Colorado Department of Transportation) and look at the road conditions. They also have web cams of many roads throughout the state. Just search for CDOT.
