VIA Rail Canada Train Journeys: PART TWO Part Two continues our journey from Montreal, through Ottawa and onwards, arriving in Toronto. From here you can take a day trip out to the breath-taking sight of the Niagara Falls. Continue Watching with Part Three: The Canadian (Toronto to Vancouver). …………………………………………………………………………………. The brief for our films was to show the UK sales teams & customers what it is really like to travel with Via Rail, so the customers know exactly what they see is what they get, unlike misleading big budget ‘polished’ promotional videos. This ‘real experience’ approach was exactly what VIA Rail Canada were after. Since completing this film VIA have not only distributed to sales teams and customers throughout the UK but across the world, including South America, Australia, Europe and Canada! This video starts with a short clip showing me using my laptop computer on the train and some video taken of scenery out the train window while passing through the Rocky Mountain region between Denver and Winter Park, Colorado on my trip from Denver, Co. to Provo, Utah. You can see many dried up and dead pine trees out the window of the train in this video which is sadly caused by the pine beetle infestation. I am still planning to get part 3 produced from this segment of the trip. The camera I used was a Sony DSC-H2 digital still camera used in MPEG video mode. You can view photos of some of my Amtrak train trips I posted at Webshots at community.webshots.com and my MySpace page is at www.myspace.com
