Most of the land in the mountains is public. Not too far from Denver there are several beautiful locals depending on where you live.

Drive west on I-70 and take the Mount Vernon exit. There are lots of mountain backdrops along the road. Continue west on I-70 and take the Bergan Park exit. Turn on Squaw Pass road and drive through some beautiful scenery.

Driving south, you can go to Waterton Canyon or Roxborough State Park.

Also on the west side are the Jefco Open Space Parks. Some especially pretty ones are White Ranch, Mount Falcon and Aldefer/Three Sisters.

Ask your photographer where he or she recommends. They are always familiar with great backgrounds.

You live here, and don’t know where to go for your senior photos?

Doesn’t your PHOTOGRAPHER know where to shoot for best backdrops, light, etc.?

PLEASE tell me you aren’t just going out with someone who has a pretty camera, but doesn’t know how to use it, or to get the light right, or find the best backdrop for your needs!

You ARE paying a professional to take your senior photos, right? Cause, you know, this is important!
