As ACE co-owner Steve Price puts it, Its all about honoring many through the memory of one. Merle Overholt was the patriarch of the Price and Overholt families. A beloved husband, brother and grandfather, Merle was a Veteran of extraordinary circumstances serving from 1942 to 1963 in no less than three branches of the United States Armed Forces; Navy, Air Force and Coast Guard. After dedicating much of his life to his country, Merle returned home to Denver and spent the remainder of his life serving his community. Last month, Merle Overholt passed away but his dedication and lifetime of service lives on, serving as the genesis for the ACE End of Summer Donation DRIVE to Honor Returning Colorado Veterans.
