Colorado is an open carry state with few exceptions at the local government level (Denver) and you can open carry in National Parks (Yellowstone,Glacier, etc),but Colorado only recognizes resident CCW permits-so,you can open carry and not CC,even with an out of state permit.

You can only concealed carry in national parks even in the national parks in open carry states as the general rule for national parks is no firearms. So in order carry concealed in a national park you must have a concealed carry permit. Good luck getting one.

I hate to inform you of this fact, but you are a thousand times safer in the Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado, than you will ever be walking down the street of Chicago, where you have no right to carry a firearm for protection.

Chicago had 458 murders in one year, that same year the Whole state of Colorado with twice as many people only had 175. Colorado has very few gun control laws while Chicago has some of the most strict gun control laws in the world, if nothing else that should show that gun control laws just do not work to reduce crime, regardless of what the liberal gun control bigots say.
