Question by desjmay: Maximum travel for a rocky mountain flow?
hey all,
just thinkin about upgrading from my 130 mm fork and was wondering what the maximum amount of travel is that I would want to put on there. The bike is a 2006 rocky mountain flow 1.0
thanks!

You never stated the type of riding that you do, and that is pivotal on the amount of travel that you would want. In all honesty I wouldn’t go any higher than 130mm regardless of the terrain because the head angle will become too slack. If you are doing a lot of decent type riding a slack head angle can be a good thing, but for 4X and dirt jumping it effects your cornering. If I were going to do an upgrade I would probably look for something with 100mm or travel or with adjustable travel. If it comes down to fork action v/s travel, I would go for fork action.
